US independent Apache has shut in some of its natural gas production in the prolific Permian basin due to low regional pricing amid limited takeaway capacity.
The Houston-based player said it had made the production deferrals at its Alpine High gas play in late March, with the current amount of affected production representing around 250 million cubic feet per day of gas on a gross basis.
