US independent Apache plans to increase production dramatically at its prolific Alpine High play in the Delaware basin this year, even though it expects to drill fewer wells than previously forecast.
The company plans to operate an average of six to seven rigs on Alpine High this year, relatively flat compared to the half-dozen it operated in 2017.
It also now expects to have 190 wells online at the end of the year, 50 fewer than previously anticipated.
