Chinese player Apec Energy has farmed into a licence off Ireland’s west coast that contains the Barryroe oilfield, with at least three new wells in sight, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
The privately-held company, which has a strategic partnership with China Oilfield Services Ltd (COSL) and JIC Capital Management, is taking a 50% interest in SEL 1/11 in the north Celtic Sea basin, which contains Barryroe.
