Halliburton chairman and former chief executive Dave Lesar has been awarded with the American Petroleum Institute’s highest honour, the Gold Medal for Distinguished Achievement.
The industry stalwart, who was replaced as chief executive by Jeff Miller earlier this year, joins peers such as former Occidental Petroleum boss Stephen Chazen and Devon Energy co-found J Larry Nicolas in picking up the accolade.
