Thailand’s national upstream company PTTEP has acquired a further 39% stake in privately owned player Apico via a $74 million deal that gives it a larger interest in the domestic producing Sinphuhorm gas condensate field.
Sinphuhorm, which covers blocks EU1 and E5N in Udon Thani and Khon Kaen provinces, achieved average sales volumes of 88 million cubic feet per day of gas and 289 barrels per day of condensate in the first half of 2019.
