Aker BP is set to start appraising its new Liataarnet discovery off Norway as soon as the fourth quarter, as the independent also brought forward drilling of two other wildcats into this year’s schedule, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
“The next well will be the Vaagar well in the Norwegian Sea, and then we will do Nipa, which is in the same area,” said chief executive Karl Johnny Hersvik.
