Petrobras drilled the Libra C2 well in the central portion of the block using the Seadrill drillship West Carina, identifying the presence of hydrocarbons in a low-porosity carbonate reservoir.
Petrobras is also finishing the drilling of the Libra NW-2 well, where coring operations are under way, and recently started drilling the Libra N1 well. First oil from Libra is eyed for late 2016 via a series of extended well tests.
