Details of the hydrocarbon gas enhanced oil recovery full field scale project (HCG-EOR FFS) have not been revealed, and the company was not able to comment as Upstream went to press.
JVPC is a subsidiary of JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration, which said it had been granted a five-year extension up to 6 April 2025 of the Rang Dong production sharing contract, and this would enable it “to carry out the HCG-EOR FFS project for the Rang Dong oilfield”.
