Saudi Aramco is renegotiating its long-term agreements (LTA) for engineering and fabrication capacity with four leading international offshore contractors in a bid to cut costs, and is also allowing at least one new player to participate in the process.
The Saudi Arabian state oil giant — headed by chief executive Amin Nasser — has asked its existing four fabrication contractors to submit revised commercial offers later this month.
