Archer has secured a new long-term contract with Chevron to provide drilling and maintenance services on a pair of platforms off the UK.
The five-year deal, with two optional one-year extensions, covers work on the US operator’s Alba Northern and Captain facilities, as well as onshore rig operations, maintenance and quality, health, safety and environment services.
It is due to start on 1 May in continuation of an existing contract with the Oslo-listed drilling services contractor, which has been working for Chevron off the UK since 2004.
