Russia's Novatek has signed agreements with Germany’s Linde and a consortium of Linde, France’s Technip and Russia’s NIPIgaz institute for work its its proposed Arctic LNG 2 project in the remote Yamal-Nenets autonomous region in West Siberia.

Novatek said Linde will licence one of its proprietary gas liquefaction processes to Novatek for the scheme, while the deal with the consortium calls for co-operation on the design and construction of concrete gravity-based foundations for Arctic LNG 2 and other potential projects.
