McDermott International said this week that its deal, along with partner China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), to provide three modules for the Arctic LNG 2 development in Russia is worth between $50 million and $250 million, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
The US company confirmed that its joint venture with the Chinese yard giant, Qingdao McDermott Wuchuan Offshore Engineering, will deliver the trio of complex process modules for the Novatek-led liquefied natural gas scheme on the Gydan peninsula.
