The Brazilian National Petroleum Agency (ANP) has announced which areas will be included in the inaugural round of the permanent offer initiative set for 10 September.
The sectors available for bidding under the new licensing mechanism will mainly feature onshore tracts in the Parnaiba, Potiguar, Reconcavo and Sergipe-Alagoas basins.
However, the ANP will also offer shallow-water blocks in the Campos basin and deep-water acreage in the Sergipe-Alagoas basin.
