The potential contracts would follow the award early this year of a similar contract to a joint venture between Norwegian marine contractor Aries Offshore Services, Houston-based engineering and project management company ESLP and Mexican-based LSP Offshore.
A source suggested this week at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston that Pemex could put out tenders soon and indicated that Aries and ESLP would try to secure the contracts.
