Armada drilled the Bear Creek-1 well in Carbon County, Wyoming, to 8921 vertical feet, about 150 feet beneath the base of the Casper-Tensleep formation.
Logging data indicated a total of 355 feet of potential oil pay in multiple reservoirs, including 150 feet of potential pay from three benches in the unconventional Niobrara shale and 205 feet of potential pay in multiple conventional reservoirs, including the Sundance, Muddy and Casper-Tensleep formations, the company said.
“It
