It is understood that Jurong Shipyard has contracted the Dockwise heavy-lift vessel Black Marlin to dry-tow the Arpoador hull to the Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz (EJA) shipyard, in southern Espirito Santo state, where final commissioning will take place.
The rig will be transported from Singapore with most of the equipment already installed on top of the hull, work that was supposed to take place in Brazil to satisfy local content requirements.
