Australia's Arrow Energy, the 50:50 joint venture owned by Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell and PetroChina, has secured a land approval in Queensland to potentially develop more gas for liquefied natural gas exports and the domestic market.
The state government granted Arrow 14 petroleum leases that provide the company with tenure security for the Surat Gas Project, which could potentially bring several trillion cubic feet of gas to market.
