The decision to go ahead with the 16 billion baht ($380 million) development in the Gulf of Thailand has been taken as the operator believes that PTT, the former Petroleum Authority of Thailand, will be in the market for additional gas volumes in four years' time.
Initial deliveries of between 200 million cubic feet of gas per day and 250 MMcfd are expected to be taken by the partly privatised national outfit at start-up, with the potential for increased amounts.
