The Danish company has contracted AstraStar to spud about 200 vertical development and water injection wells for the phase two extension at the Dunga oilfield.

The field, in Kazakhstan’s Mangistau region, currently produces about 7000 barrels per day of oil from 19 wells, most of which have horizontal sections.
