The move is the latest step in the strategy of Atlantis company Atlantis Deepwater Technology Holding (ADTH) to increase marketing efforts and have local presence in what it considers key areas for likely first application of the novel deep-water technology.

The concept allows subsea equipment to be installed on an "artificial buoyant seabed" at the relatively shallow water depth of 200-300 metres, regardless of the actual depth to the seabed.
