Besides the Leviathan Deep Oil target, Noble expects to find several such oil prospects underlying existing discoveries it has uncovered in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, said a company spokesman.
Noble last week said it had entered a three-year, $584,000-per-day contract with Atwood Oceanics for the drillship Atwood Advantage, which is being built at the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard in South Korea.
