Timor-Leste and Australia have signed an agreement on a new maritime boundary which is the midway point between the two countries, but the two sides have not yet agreed on a way to develop the Greater Sunrise gas fields, writes Russell Searancke.
The new treaty consists of two elements — the permanent border and the legal status of the Greater Sunrise fields.
