Malaysian company Ping Petroleum is carrying out a front-end assessment of the potential development of its Avalon oilfield in the UK central North Sea.
Current development concepts are focusing on an extended tie-back to an “existing infrastructure host platform”, Ping said in an update issued to the UK supply chain this week through the Oil & Gas Authority.
Avalon is located in Block 21/6b.
