Petronas is progressing toward the award of a turnkey contract for a small platform destined for the Sepat oil and gas project off Peninsular Malaysia, write Russell Searancke and Xu Yihe.
Sources said that the contract for the project went out to bid in early 2017, with an engineering procurement, construction and installation contract being made available for one platform, which is understood to be designed with a 1450-tonne jacket and 1100-tonne topsides.
