Australian operator AWE is evaluating bids for the main turnkey contract for the Waitsia stage two project in Western Australia.
Of the five bids received, three were traditional engineering, procurement and construction offerings, and two were based on a build-own-operate model.
The selected groups were Quanta with Suez, Atco Australia, Clough and SNC-Lavalin.
AWE said capital costs were being defined as part of the bidding process.
