Azeri state oil company Socar and its other partners in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oilfield complex are understood to be looking at bidding together for the stakes held in the consortium held by US supermajors ExxonMobil and Chevron, both of which are seen as willing sellers of their interests in ACG, writes Kama Mustafayeva.
