THE Bennu Titan production and drilling platform in the deep-water US Gulf of Mexico is set to go up for auction as financiers look to recoup some of their losses following the bankruptcy of another operator of the facility.
A judge in Houston was expected on 17 August to sign a court order that will set in motion bid procedures for the platform, which remains moored but offline in Mississippi Canyon Block 941.
