Covering 17,000 square kilometres, the shoot will be the largest in the history of the island energy producer and is a key landmark to unlocking its previously-undrilled deep-water provinces.

The Ramform Titan is expected to tow 12 streamers across seven blocks — TTDAA 5, 6, 8 and 9, which are held by BHP, TTDAA 14 and Block 23(a), which are held by BP, and Block 23(b) which is held by a consortium of BHP and Repsol.
