The 'Exmouth sub-basin pipeline system' study is examining linking gas from at least three BHP-operated projects in the Exmouth sub-basin to the Melbourne-based energy giant's producing Griffin oil and gas complex.
Oil and gas from the Griffin, Chinook and Scindian fields are produced via the Griffin Venture floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
The gas is then piped to shore and exported directly into the Dampier-to-Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline for sale in the Western Australian market.
