Interested bidders include Singapore’s SMOE, Thailand’s Cuel, Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumikin Engineering, Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea, Malaysian duo SapuraKencana and Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering, and China’s Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC).
The EPC tender for the four platforms, which are expected to weigh between 2000 and 2500 tonnes each, will be launched at the end of 2015, said sources.
