Bisso said it plans to complete the conversion by mid-June. The purchase price was not disclosed.
The vessel, to be renamed Bisso Diver I, is expected to work in the Gulf of Mexico, primarily supporting other Bisso vessels on offshore construction, pipeline and salvage projects.
Houston-based marine engineering firm Alan C McClure Associates will oversee the conversion.
