Dutch floater specialist Bluewater is in advanced talks with Mexican state oil company Pemex about the adapation and chartering of the Munin floating production, storage and offloading vessel, currently in Batam, Indonesia, for use on extended well tests, initially on Ayatsil-Tekel, a heavy oil project in the Bay of Campeche.
Bluewater has been plying the Munin for business with Pemex for over a year, facing some competition from Mexican outfit Marecsa, but is now understood be moving close to a deal.
