Another 21 rigs were added to the US fleet drilling onshore for oil in the latest week as operators seemingly shrugged off the recent pullback in oil prices to below $50 per barrel for US crude, writes Caroline Evans.
The increase took the total count of onshore oil rigs to 652, up from a six-year low of 316 last May, energy services firm Baker Hughes said.
