Norwegian rig start-up Borr Drilling is set to climb to the top of the list of global jack-up players and help consolidate the world fleet through an acquisition of Paragon Offshore.
The $232.5 million purchase offer announced last week will add 31 jack-ups and one semi-submersible rig to Borr’s fleet of 26 units, making the company the world’s largest jack-up player.
