French vessel owner Bourbon Offshore continued the search in midweek for crew members missing after an anchor-handler en route to Guyana sank in stormy seas in the Atlantic Ocean, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
Four of the 14 crew members of the Bourbon Rhode were confirmed dead as of Wednesday, with seven still unaccounted for after three were rescued last weekend.
The vessel was en route to the Guyanese capital of Georgetown, according to vessel tracking data, when it was caught in the eye of Hurricane Lorenzo, a category four storm system, on 26 September.
