ONGC insiders said that technical experts of the two companies would meet soon initially to identify precise areas for co-operation, before specifying projects at a later date. "We do not rule our any regions. There may also be discussions for co-operation in deep-water exploration in the Krishna-Godavari basin," said an ONGC executive director.
The official said that other areas identified by Brown and Raha for co-operation include coal gasification projects in eastern and central India and wind energy and bio-fuels.
