BP has been given the green light for an exploration plan on a shallow-water block that the company won in Mexico’s Round 3.1 in 2018.
The UK supermajor will study seismic on the block and also generate a prospect to fulfill its well commitment, with drilling planned for the fourth quarter of 2022, officials said during a meeting of Mexico’s National Hydrocarbons Commission.
