The UK North Sea was given a production boost early this week when supermajor BP delivered first oil from the sizeable Quad 204 project, which has the newbuild Glen Lyon floating, production, storage and offloading vessel as its centrepiece.
Output from Quad 204 is expected to ramp up through the remainder of the year, eventually plateauing at about 130,000 barrels per day of oil.
