UK supermajor BP is said to be eyeing a Eurasia Drilling Company jack-up rig for its first probe in a shallow-water area of the Caspian Sea off Azerbaijan, writes Kama Mustafayeva.
BP plans to drill three exploration wells in prospects it has identified within the Shallow Water Absheron Peninsula (SWAP) contract area after finalising processing and interpretation of the 3D data acquired from the licensed territory.
