SUPERMAJOR BP and Trinidad Offshore Fabricators Unlimited (Tofco) are scrambling to secure capacity at a yard along the Texas Gulf coast to build key components of the Juniper natural gas platform after the Tofco yard fell behind on the project.
Juniper is due to come online in early 2017 but the Tofco yard admitted that it has fallen behind on the project and has no chance of making its deadline to deliver the platform at the end of the next year.
