The chief executive has pledged to turn the UK oil giant around in the next two to three years after he outlined plans last week to improve its financial performance.
Hayward said the group had been on a downward spiral for three or four years and it would take us "two to three years to come back up".
BP's image and profits have taken a battering over the past two years by delayed start-ups of key fields in the Gulf of Mexico, technical problems at its refineries, oil pipeline leaks in Alaska and an explosion at its Texas City refinery that killed 15 workers.
