The Norwegian player and Petrobras are set to sink new infill wells to tap additional deposits at the giant deep-water field that lies in a water depth of between 1600 and 1800 metres in the Campos basin, as well as use new drilling techniques, according to Statoil’s head of technology, projects and drilling Margareth Ovrum.
