It has been a long 11 months since UK engineering giant Amec’s £2 billion ($3.5 billion) acquisition of US-listed rival Foster Wheeler was first flagged in January.
The deal was finally completed on Thursday 13 November and shares in the new engineering mega-company — Amec Foster Wheeler — began trading in London and New York the following day.
“Now the hard work really begins,” says Brikho, who appears in energetic mood.
