After more than 30 years under the leadership of foreign chief executives, Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas (BLNG) has finally entrusted the reins to one of its own -- Dato Paduka Haji Hamdillah bin Haji Abdul Wahab, previously executive director. Haji Hamdillah, the first Brunei native to hold the position in 31 years, was appointed on 1 December. He succeeds Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) managing director John Darley who will be leaving the sultanate to take up another position within the Anglo-Dutch giant.
