A new LNG train capable of producing some 4 million tonnes per annum of LNG has been studied and it is expected that this will be built by 2008, Brunei LNG executive director Hamdillah HA Wahab said. Offshore blocks operated by Brunei Shell Petroleum and Elf (TotalFinaElf) currently deliver more than 30 million cubic metres per day of gas to the existing LNG plant at Lumut.
