Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) is preparing to start a 150-day period of development drilling in the shallow-water South West Ampa area.

BSP said the work will start on 13 June 2019 using the semi-submersible tender assisted drilling rig Sapura Pelaut.

The operator had a busy year in 2018 at the South West Ampa asset, drilling a series of development wells using the jack-up drilling rig Maersk Convincer in two separate campaigns.
