CNOOC Petroleum Europe continued midweek to work on repairs to faulty pipework at the Buzzard field, the UK's largest producer, almost a fortnight after it was initially shut in.
CNOOC first halted output at the installation on 10 October to repair the pipework.
It restarted on 13 October but was shut in again on 16 October when an inspection found “compromised repairs”.
