With construction activity increasing at the Long Lake oil sands project, demand for camping spots especially those with electric power has become a top priority for workers.
Of the 140 campsites, 60 have power, and they have been packed all summer. "This year, we've probably been full half the weekends since the May long weekend," Gregoire Lake Provincial Park district conservation officer Dennis Spackman said.
