Netherlands-based SBM Offshore is on the hunt for contractors to decommission its Deep Panuke jack-up production facility that is currently producing gas for Encana off Nova Scotia, Canada, writes Iain Esau.
Meanwhile, off Newfoundland, Husky Energy is seeking expressions of interest from contractors to hook-up and commission its West White Rose facilities. Installed in 47 metres of water, the 21,000-tonne, purpose-built Deep Panuke facility was designed to handle up to 300 million cubic feet per day of gas.
