US independent Carrizo Oil & Gas is looking to sell all of its properties in the Denver-Julesburg basin of Colorado for up to $155 million as it prioritises the Eagle Ford and Permian basin plays in Texas.
The company entered an agreement with an unnamed buyer last week to sell the assets for $140 million in cash and up to an additional $15 million in contingency payments over the next three years.
